China’s, President Xi Jinping has already labeled the Belt and Road Initiative as the “project of the century” that would benefit the people all over the world. Belt and Road provides the momentum to enable us to finally develop exciting infrastructure projects that we have desired from the long time but have been unable to deliver.

This is an important project that can help to open up the Mid West of WA and one of the ideally suited to become a flagship for Sino-Australian partnership under Belt and Road.

It has been delayed from the long time due to the past bad decisions but now is the time to present a China-led solution to take advantage of prevailing favorable conditions for the construction of major projects in Australia.

From Australia’s perspective, Duncan Calder plays an important role to build strong business and trading relations with the Australia.
